SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of printing on wood chipboards, in particular on a fiberboard, using a method of digital printing, comprising the steps of: a) applying at least one layer of the first pigmented primer to the wood chipboard of one batch of base material; b) applying at least one layer of the second pigmented primer to the wood chipboard; c) measuring the color coordinates of individual wood chipboards and loading the color coordinates into a computer program; d) processing the color coordinates of individual wood chipboards in a computer program and matching the color coordinates of the digital printing for individual wood chipboards; e) printing at least one side of wood chipboard using digital printing technology to form a decorative layer in such a way that no color deviations occur between the applied decorative components of individual wood chipboard of one batch of base material, wherein the color of the first pigmented primer and the second pigmented primer is chosen from white or gray. Also the invention relates to an apparatus for implementation of this method.

EFFECT: method for matching decorative print and a device for implementing this method have been proposed.
