FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antiviral polymer in amount, which can effectively inactivate viruses and has excellent ability to long-term operation, as well as to method for production thereof. Antiviral polymer part contains polymer, antiviral agent and surface potential control facility. Surface potential control facility makes antiviral polymer part surface potential move on some amount in positive side relative to surface potential of polymer itself. Antiviral agent as active ingredient contains particles of iodide, including iodine, and at least element of groups from 8 to 15 of fourth-sixth period of periodic table and/or particles of at least one type of cuprous.
EFFECT: invention provides considerably more lower virus infectivity, high antiviral activity against both enveloped, and against non-enveloped viruses.
