FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to reactor measurements and can be used for reactivity meter adjustment and operational checkup of their operability. Method of nuclear reactor reactivity signal imitation includes formation of a data array corresponding to change in time power parameter for the specified reactor reactivity, preservation of this data array and use thereof for control of output device to generate signal corresponding to the specified reactivity. With the help of fission ionization chamber (FID), a source of neutrons and amplification-converting equipment they record dependence of FID pulse counting rate, proportional current density of neutron flow from its distance to the source of neutrons. Value of reactivity and formed in the memory device dependence power parameter of the reactor from time corresponding to preset reactivity. Fission ionization chamber is moved relatively to the source of neutrons, the value of distance from the FID to neutron source is set depending on time, FID signal is used to generate the signal corresponding to preset reactivity.

EFFECT: high accuracy of adjustment of reactivity meter and, consequently, high reliability of measurements of nuclear reactor reactivity.
