FIELD: measuring equipment; nuclear physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of reactor measurements and can be used in nuclear reactor control systems. Neutron detector is connected to the counting and current channels of the reactometer. As detector uranium fission chamber is used. Reactor is led to a power level corresponding to the neutron detector current, which higher by at least an order of magnitude the value of the current at which the reactometer goes into pulsed mode. After the reactor control element is moved, the time derivative calculated by the reactivity meter is monitored. In the case of a change in this derivative, the second and third levels of discrimination are regulated at the moment of transition of the reactometer from current to pulse mode. Then, the operations of moving the control element are repeated under the above conditions and corresponding adjustment of the discrimination levels until the time derivative of the reactivity calculated by the reactometer is obtained at the instant of transition of the reactometer from current to pulse mode.
EFFECT: increase the calibration accuracy of the counting channel of the reactometer and expansion of method functional capabilities.
