FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to valve industry, in particular, to devices made with possibility of measuring flow rate in system. Device contains valve in combination with ball. In valve body there are upper and lower downstream inlets located along current, arranged on common axis. Ball can turn relative to common axis between open and closed positions to allow fluid flow or termination of fluid flow. Ball has calibrated element, calibrated orifice of which has coefficient of flow, pressure channels located upstream and downstream of calibrated orifice and flow-communicating with upper and lower downstream along current inputs respectively, to measure pressure upstream and downstream, when ball valve is in open position. Device is made with possibility of determination of fluid flow conditions based on signals containing information on measured pressure difference between channels pressure upstream and downstream medium, taking into account calibrated orifice flow coefficient, when ball valve is in open position. There is version of device comprising valve system.
EFFECT: group of inventions is aimed at direct measurement of flow in ball gate valve with complete closure, reduced total number of elements, needed in system, and enabling one point of head loss when determining requirements for total head loss in system.
