FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: device for turning boxes comprises two conveyor belts (14, 16), moving side-by-side in direction (18) of transportation. Belts inclined downwards towards each other have rows of rollers (20) that serve as support for articles which can freely rotate on axles parallel to conveyance direction. Each belt moves at various speed, so that article arranged on both belts is turned during its transportation along belt. Difference in speed is set so that to provide desired angle of rotation for the length of two belts.
EFFECT: boxes are turned at full 90 degrees at short distance without need for their forced deviation.
