FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of treating the locomotor apparatus and can be used for treating platypodia. Method is carried out in two stages: distraction-preparatory and forming - main ones. Preparatory stage lasts for three months and facilitates elimination of pathological myotonic centers in foot and leg muscles by means of physical exercises aiming at distraction, i.e. stretching muscles of foot and leg, intensified regeneration of collagen fibres in connective muscular structures, high extensibility and elasticity of the ligamentous apparatus for recovery of normal biomechanical functions of foot. Main stage lasts for 5 months and provides formation of normal muscle tone of foot and leg, recovery of normal height of foot by means of application of power and static exercises.
EFFECT: method enables the therapy with account of etiopathogenesis of platypodia.
