FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to determination of stress-strain state of metal structures of high-risk facilities of oil, gas and chemical industries, transport systems and oil and gas processing using strain brittle coatings, which enables to obtain clear picture of highest stress concentration and obtain data for evaluation of strength of potentially hazardous objects. Brittle coating for deformation and stress analysis is made of mixture of epoxy resin Ed-20, hardener (polyethylene polyamine, PEPA) and freon-26 with following component ratio, wt%: resin 20-60, curing agent 1-3, freon 79-37.
EFFECT: possibility of early diagnostics and increase of method sensitivity.
