METHOD OF PREPARATION OF FRONTAL TEETH UNDER ARTIFICIAL CROWN Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC A61C5/00 

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to dentistry, and is intended for use in orthopaedic dentistry clinic. Separation of approximal surfaces is performed. Approximal surface is prepared, stopping at 0.5 mm to gingival level, wherein depth of abrasion of solid dental tissues on this operation and on all other subsequent operations is 0.5-1.5 mm. Cutting edge is reduced parallel to pupillary line with thickness of 2 mm. Oral surface is prepared from frontal teeth cutting edge, stopping at 0.5 mm to gingival level. On vestibular surface one vertical furrow and one horizontal groove depth 0.2-0.3 mm are created passing through middle of visible part of tooth to control depth of abrasion of solid tissue of prepared tooth. Prepared vestibular surface stopping at 0.5 mm to gingival level. Produced preliminary circular ledge is deepened to 0.5 mm below level of gum, repeating gingival circuit. Finished tooth preparation by smoothing sharp edges, corners and making smooth outline of stump.

EFFECT: method allows improving quality of teeth preparation and fixation of artificial crown, due to creation of approximate furrows for control of thickness reduction of hard tooth tissues.
