FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used for cryostatting superconducting coils of multiphase power transformers with flat magnetic system. Cryostat consists of separate toroidal containers formed by inner and outer vertical and coaxially located dielectric cylinders connected to each other with flat circular bottoms. Number of toroidal vessels is equal to number of phases of transformer. Each individual toroidal vessel is placed on a separate rod of flat polyphase magnetic conductor. External surfaces of outer cylinders of separate toroidal vessels are equipped with two heat-insulating dielectric blocks in the form of parallelepipeds, their height equals the height of separate toroidal vessels, their length equals or is greater than the sum of diameters of separate toroidal vessels. Each of the heat-insulating blocks is made with vertical cavities on the side adjacent to external surface of outer cylinders toroidal vessels. Number of cavities is equal to number of separate toroidal vessels, and their shape follows the shape of outer cylinders of toroidal vessels along the line of contact with them. Outer edge at the joint between surfaces of external vertical cylinders of separate toroidal vessels and vertical cavities of parallelepipeds are filled polyurethane sutures.
EFFECT: higher efficiency due to reduced heat leakages from the environment through the external heat insulation to cryogenic liquid.
