SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, particularly to methods and systems for calculating take-off weight of aircraft. Method of calculating take-off weight of aircraft with hovering, comprises steps of measuring required hovering power at first and second moment in time, obtaining third values of second value associated with pressure at flight altitude, obtaining fourth values of third value associated with temperature at flight altitude, obtaining fifth values of fourth value associated with engine rotational speed, calculating sixth values of fifth value associated with relative density at flight altitude at said first and second moments in time. Characteristic hovering curve is used to calculate seventh and eighth values of flight weight of aircraft at first and second moments in time.

EFFECT: possibility of accurate calculation of take-off weight.
