METHOD FOR NON-INVASIVE TREATMENT OF ANTERIOR OCCLUSION IN CHILDREN WITH OPEN SKELETAL GROWTH Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC A61C7/00 

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention aims at treating severe anterior occlusion gnatic shape in children with incomplete skeletal growth aged 10 to 14 years. Fixed apparatus with a palatine expanding screw is installed on upper jaw teeth. Upper and lower cutters are disconnected. Method includes alternately performing, ten days each, taper, expansion of upper jaw by turning screw by 1 to 0.4 mm in corresponding side once a day. Position of palatal screw is fixed. On lower jaw on both sides between third and fourth teeth, dental implants are mounted. On hooks on device and implants, intermaxillary rods with class III vector and orthopaedic force 350-400 g are applied on one side. Rods are applied round-the-clock to eliminate anterior cross-bite, except during meals. Then rods are removed, implants are removed and device with palatine screw is removed. Then anomalies of separate teeth and/or dentures are eliminated.

EFFECT: method provides orthopaedic non-surgical treatment of children with incomplete skeletal growth aged 10 to 14 years suffering severe gnatic forms of anterior occlusion, higher physiological value and appearance.
