FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to dentistry, and is intended for use in the treatment of dentoalveolar anomalies in patients with dysfunction of the temporomandibular joint with myogenic nature of pain. The correct position of the lower jaw is determined and recorded. A kappa is made according to the received register for the dentition of the lower jaw in the form of an occlusal splint with fixation on the chewing teeth and with an occlusal surface corresponding to the occlusal surface of the chewing teeth of the lower jaw, set in the correct position. A kappa is applied to the dentition of the lower jaw. After applying an occlusive splint to the lower jaw and adapting the lower jaw to the correct position, the bracket system with a wire metal elastic arch is fixed on the dentition of the upper jaw on teeth 1.5, 1.4, 1.3, 1.2, 1.1, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, 2.5. Then, on the lower jaw, the occlusal splint is removed from the surface of molars 3.6, 3.7, 4.6, 4.7, fixed buccal tubes are fixed on the molars of the upper and lower jaws 1.7, 1.6, 2.6, 2.7, 3.7, 3.6, 4.6, 4.7, intermaxillary vertical elastic traction is prescribed in maxillary and mandibular molars. After that, as the molars move, the occlusal splint is ground in the area of the premolars of the lower jaw. The occlusal splint is left on the teeth of the lower jaw until tight contacts of the molars of the jaws are formed. After the formation of tight contacts between the molars of the jaws, the intermaxillary vertical elastic traction in the area of the molars of the upper and lower jaws is canceled, and the occlusal splint is canceled. After that, the bracket system with a wire metal elastic arch is fixed on the lower dentition and intermaxillary traction is applied in the region of the premolars of the upper and lower jaws until the end of the process of formation of occlusal contacts in the lateral and frontal areas of the jaws.
EFFECT: method, due to a certain sequence of performing a complex of operations, allows to reduce the time for restoring the physiological functioning of the masticatory muscles, providing a reduction in the time of relief of myogenic pain caused by hyperactivity of the masticatory muscles.
