FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: method of producing colour image by light diffraction grating includes creation of solid body surface of the array of diffraction grating for process micro structuring by laser. Laser radiation is radiation of laser unit in nanosecond or picosecond range. Each array of diffraction grating consists of subareas, which longitudinal dimensions have value less than resolution of human eye. Each subregion comprises at least one pixel. Said one pixel ensures production of separate spectral colour. At that, method further includes step of analysing said solid body surface to obtain latticed shape on that surface, prior to creation of diffraction grid surface of solid body surface is adjusted considering obtained requirements to body form.
EFFECT: technical result consists in creation of image with high efficiency and high brightness.
