FIELD: geophysics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to geophysics and can be used for data processing vertical seismic profiling. Proposed systems and method of exploration by means of vertical seismic profiling (VSP) provide for collection of data of multicomponent signals and data signals presentation in form of a combination parameterised compression, shear and dispersive wave fields. In consideration may include several wave fields of each type, for example, for separation of uplink and downlink component wave fields. For simultaneous assessment of angle of incidence and slowness of each wave fields nonlinear optimisation is employed. Slowness of one or more dispersion fields may be parameterised in form of phase slowness and group slowness relative to central wave frequency. Values of parameters may vary as a function of depth.
EFFECT: technical result is improved accuracy of obtained data.
