SUBSTANCE: ophthalmic system comprises: an ophthalmic image forming apparatus configured to form an image of a portion of an imaged eye of a patient; image processor configured to determine violation of alignment of imaged eye and image forming device by means of processing of formed image, and control signal generation according to certain violation of alignment; and a system for reducing violation of alignment, configured to receive control signal, and generating a response for reducing violation of alignment; and a patient interface configured to bind to imaged eye of patient after response to reduction of violation of alignment of system for reduction of violation of alignment. Method includes steps of: generating an image of a portion of an imaged eye of a patient; determining a misalignment of imaged eye and imaging device; and generating a misalignment-reduction response electronically and performing binding to imaged eye of patient after misalignment-reduction response.
EFFECT: using present group of inventions provides higher accuracy of alignment or binding ophthalmic imaging system with an eye to patient's eye.
