SUBSTANCE: invention relates to continuous metal casting. Frame (30) of device, attached to lower side of metallurgical vessel comprises a first upper part and a second lower part connected in middle plane (51) cross-section perpendicular to casting axis (Z), upper refractory element (18) and plate (34) located in sliding contact in middle plane (51) section. Upper part of frame comprises upper refractory element (18). Lower part - passage between inlet and outlet holes corresponding to direction (14) of replacement of plates, and jacket (32) located therein for receiving and holding plate in working position. Case comprises first and second opposite walls (100, 101), parallel to central longitudinal plane (50) and located on both sides thereof. On each wall there are recesses (110) for receiving means (120) of clamping plate in direction of upper part of frame. Orthogonal projection of recess on first wall of case to central longitudinal plane and orthogonal projection of recesses on second wall of case, are displaced relative to each other along a vertical line.

EFFECT: protection of operations of assembly and servicing from negligence of operator.
