FIELD: metal casting.
SUBSTANCE: refractory pouring nozzle (1) for the nozzle replacement device located at the outlet of the metallurgical container contains an upper refractory plate (3, 13) with abutting surfaces (7a, 7b, 17a, 17b) on each of two opposite end surfaces. On one surface (7b, 17b) of the top plate (3, 13) there are centering elements (5a, 5b, 15a, 15b) protruding from both sides, and on the opposite surface (7a, 17a) there are chamfers (4a, 4b, 14a, 14b) on both sides. When replacing the refractory nozzle, the centering elements (5a, 5b) of the nozzle (1) interact with the chamfers (14a, 14b) of the adjacent nozzle (10) of identical design, thereby creating equally directed movement of the two nozzles.
EFFECT: preventing or reducing oscillations or rocking of the pouring nozzles during the replacement process.
