FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of construction materials and can be used in wall ceramics technology. Method of making wall ceramics involves grinding of dry clay or siliceous material followed by its active mixing with wet granulated cellular glass, semi-dry pressing, drying and baking of articles. Granulated cellular glass of class -2.5+0.63 mm is wetted in a turbo blade mixer-granulator to the molding moisture content of 8-15 % (of dry components weight). Then the granulator is supplied with crushed dry clay or silicate material and active mixing is performed to produce granulated batch of the following composition, wt%: clay (silicate) material 30-50; granulated cellular glass 50-70.
EFFECT: technical result is the simplification of technology for production of wall ceramic materials, reduction of average density, water absorption and increase of articles strength-density ratio.
