FIELD: veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: pathological state of teeth is selected from a group consisting of dental deposit, stone, staining teeth, halitosis, stomatitis, gingivitis and periodontitis and their combinations. Companion animal in need of treating or reducing said conditions of teeth is fed with an effective amount of nutritionally complete feed composition. Composition contains lactic acid in amount of 0.8 to 5 wt%.
EFFECT: invention relates to a method of treating or reducing pathological state of teeth of a companion animal.
