SUBSTANCE: invention relates to flax-growing sector agroindustrial complex, namely, to methods for butt alignment of fibre flax stems in the layer during primary treatment of flux raw material. Method of butt alignment of fibre flax stems in the layer at comprises moving the layer by clamping conveyor with simultaneous hackle of butts and top parts of stems, moving hackled layer with simultaneous impact on butts along stems. Additionally, together with movement of layer in clamping conveyor, top part of stem layer is hackled to the width that covers the width of stem butt hackling, hackling elements successively pierce the layer and moved together with it in the plane of its movement and in the direction perpendicular to direction of its movement at the speed of hackling elements in the direction of the layer movement that equals the speed of the layer.

EFFECT: technical result of solving the task consists in reducing contact between stems in the layer and damage of fibrous part of stems.
