SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of vegetable coatings, used for planting streets, squares, for construction of sports grounds, as well as landscape design. Lawn production method involves forming strips with fine-mesh base, sowing lawn grass seeds and growing grass coating on a previously prepared area. Lawn strips are formed from knitted fabric made of bicomponent threads, and seeds sowing is carried out in the fabric stretched in longitudinal and transverse directions.
EFFECT: simplified lawn production method and increased seeds germination capacity.
