COORDINATED MULTI-POINT TRANSMISSION MODES Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC H04B7/02

Abstract RU 2594749 C1

FIELD: radio engineering and communications.

SUBSTANCE: invention discloses method of configuring user equipment in wireless communication network, which comprises: determining, for user equipment, set of two or more transmission points, from which user equipment can receive transmission, and their release of set of measurements coordinated multi-point transmission associated with user equipment; extraction of set of operating modes of transmission points in set of measurements coordinated multi-point transmission for communication with user equipment; association of code point with each mode in selected set of modes of operation of set of transmission points to form codebook; and message to user equipment relative to code book. Described aspects and versions of recognising that without considerable increase in number of bits required communicated with downlink control information, dynamic switching between some preselected or preconfigured circuits coordinated multi-point transmission can effectively be maintained in network. Configuration of code points, interpreted by user equipment, can be set in user equipment on basis of user equipment and can be configured by preliminary semi-static transfer of service RRC signals.

EFFECT: invention provides reception of dynamically varying coordinated multi-point transmission of one or more transmission points in network.
