METHOD FOR ENDOSCOPIC TREATMENT OF CICATRICAL STENOSIS OF OESOPHAGUS IN PATIENTS WITH EROSIVE-ULCERATIVE ESOPHAGITIS Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC A61B1/00 A61M27/00 A61B18/04

Abstract RU 2594818 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, surgery, endoscopic methods of treating cicatricial oesophagus, complicated by erosive-ulcerative esophagitis. Method comprises dilation with elastic conical dilators by successively using dilators of increasing number and diameter. After each operation dilation operation in esophagus through endoscope nitrogen oxide is insufflated for 1 min, said nitrogen oxide being generated by "Plason" apparatus, with low concentration in gas flow of 300 ppm. Targeted action of nitrogen oxide is applied in region of raptures of mucous membrane, formed as a result of dilation, and erosive-ulcerous defects. Therapeutic course includes 6 sessions every other day.

EFFECT: method enables to prevent oesophageal breaks, stop bleeding from ruptures of mucosa with subsequent fast their epithelialisation, without formation of rough scarring, due to increased, under action of nitrogen oxide in low concentration, activity of vascular endothelial cells and thrombocytes, to form a layer of thrombocytes on erosive surface, preventing injury to cardial oesophagus, providing a marked stable result, absence of gastroesophageal reflux, elimination of recurrences.
