FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for production of electrolyte, involving preparation of liquid silicate solution, adding an inorganic acid, mechanical mixing; the method is characterized by that liquid silicate solution is obtained by adding solution of sodium polysilicate to water solution of ethylene glycol, content of ethylene glycol in the water solution of ethylene glycol is 33±1.6 wt%, ratio of sodium polysilicate and ethylene glycol water solution is 0.500±0.05 g/g. Mechanical mixing is performed followed by adding sulphur acid in two stages, ratio of sulphur acid to introduced sodium polysilicate is 0.202±0.001 g/g, first step involves mechanical mixing, second stage involves piercing the layer of the formed gel to its entire depth and introducing into obtained holes the remaining sulphur acid, then the gel is mechanically mixed till it is homogeneous and dry copper sulphate, taken in an amount, at which the ratio of copper sulphate and ethylene glycol solution in water equals 0.450±0.02 g/g is added. Then electrolyte without additives produced by dissolving copper sulphate in solution of ethylene glycol in water is introduced, ratio of electrolyte without additives and originally introduced solution of ethylene glycol in water is 0.360±0.02 g/g, followed by mechanical mixing.
EFFECT: use of the present invention improves the operational properties of the produced electrolyte.
