FIELD: electronics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electron-beam gun, which contains cooled anode assembly with sleeve, cooled cathode assembly with insert for high-voltage input, hydrogen supply union, focusing electromagnetic lens, deflecting system. Cathode cooling is performed by U-shaped channel formed between end of insert and reverse side of cathode, which section area narrows towards centre of cathode due to wedge made at end of insert. Anode assembly is cooled by spiral channel made through entire anode housing. Focusing electromagnetic lens consists of three independent electromagnetic coils, rigidly installed on anode in steel bodies. Each coil has separate controlled power supply. Hydrogen feed union is installed in anode housing. Deflection system device is made in form of ring and is installed on anode housing from its lower face.
EFFECT: to hydrogen feed copper bushing is used, which is installed in anode housing by cold fit, to swirl hydrogen flow channels are made on outer side of bushing at angle to bushing axis.
