FIELD: electroplating. SUBSTANCE: steel parts and saturating mixture containing inert material and fine (4-60 mcm) zinc powder are loaded into tight rotary reactor in amounts 0.10 to 0.20 kg per 1 sq.m of surface of parts to be coated. The contents of reactor are heated and parts are held at 390 to 430 C under inert atmosphere. Amount of powder varies from 40 to 100% of the weight of parts.
