FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, in particular, to production of heat-resistant alloys based on niobium, which can be used for production of working blades of GTE (gas-turbine engines). Method of producing high-temperature alloy based on niobium involves making a consumable electrode, melting consumable electrode in a vacuum arc furnace and casting melt. Consumable electrode is prepared from charge materials in form of niobium, silicon and at least one of alloying elements, including titanium, hafnium, aluminium, chromium, zirconium, molybdenum, tungsten, tin and yttrium, melting of consumable electrode is performed to produce ingot, which then undergoes remelting in a vacuum induction furnace at temperature 1,800-2,100 °C in an inert ceramic crucible, made of at least one of oxides of yttrium, hafnium, scandium or zirconium, and casting of obtained melt is performed in an inert mould.
EFFECT: produced workpieces have an equiaxial structure and homogeneous chemical composition in entire volume and can be used for subsequent casting with directed structure, which increases service life and reliability of aircraft gas turbine engines.
