SUBSTANCE: method for producing a heat resistant alloy based on Nb-Si comprises loading the charge into the crucible, smelting in vacuum induction furnace under vacuum or in an inert gas, pouring the melt into the mold. The crucible is charged with a charge containing silicon, aluminium, titanium, niobium and at least one element selected from chromium, molybdenum and tungsten, smelting is carried out at a temperature of 1800-2100°C in an inert ceramic crucible, the working layer of which is made of at least one of oxides of yttrium, hafnium, scandium or zirconium, at least 10-15 minutes prior to pouring, at least one active element selected from zirconium, hafnium And yttrium, and the casting of the resulting melt is carried out in a pre-heated inert form.

EFFECT: get ingots and castings with equiaxed structure and homogeneous chemical composition throughout the volume of the ingot from heat-resistant alloys based on niobium.
