FIELD: electrophysics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrophysical methods of processing materials, particularly, to spark alloying, and can be used for production of wear-resistant coatings on parts. Device comprises a magnetic system consisting of two electric coils, an armature of a soft magnetic material installed inside the coil with the possibility of back-and-forth movement relative to the inner part of the coils, an electrode secured in the electrode holder, which through a non-magnetic rod is attached to the armature, and a power supply unit. Herewith the coils are located one on the other, the height of the armature is equal to the width of the coil, and the power supply unit comprises a master oscillator adjustable by frequency and pulse duty factor with its output connected to the input of a biphase generator, outputs of which via serially connected pulse generators and adjustable current amplifiers are connected to the coils. Device also includes a controlled direct current source, which output is connected to the lower coil, and a touch sensor, which input is connected with the electrode holder, and the output is connected to the input of the controlled DC source and the master oscillator.
EFFECT: invention ensures adjustment of the electrode vibration by frequency, amplitude and shock-vibrating speed during electric spark alloying.
