FIELD: oil industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil industry and can be used to determine the oil well production watering. Proposed method comprises feeding continuous flow/gas/water mixture alternately in identical metering chambers counter fluid and their cyclic unloading by tilting into a flow line, wherein the first chamber is equipped with permanent load, which is chosen so that the capacity of the second chamber is enough for the set threshold mass tripping time stamp three successive moments of actuation of contactless sensor emptying corresponding three successive moments emptying metering chambers of the counter, determination of time of metering chambers liquid meter received for cycle phase, calculation of value of phase asymmetry of cycles, determination of density of fluid supplied to the metering chambers counter: ρL= 0, 577m3(1-FS1.5)2/{dm2Lm2W (1 + FS)3}, where m is the mass of the chamber, dm is the mass of the load, Lm-arm of the load relative the centre of the rotation chamber, W is width of the measuring chamber, the value of which is introduced into the computing unit, the signal from the sensor of emptying. Oil well product watering is determined from ratio: W=ρL - ρO / ρWO, where ρL - liquid density, ρO - oil density, ρW - water density.

EFFECT: using the presented method simplifies the process of determining water content due to continuous monitoring and increases measurement accuracy.
