SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat engineering, namely to aft equipment of boiler plants, and can be used for heat recovery and purification from aggressive impurities of exhaust flue gases. Core of the invention is the fact that the complex air heater comprises a rectangular housing provided with top and end covers with branch pipes for inlet and outlet of air and flue gases, pyramid-shaped bottom with a condenser tube, in which there are vertical rectangular cassettes installed, each of which consists of one side blind wall with rough surface facing the air side, perforated bottom, end walls and the other side wall facing the gas side, which is perforated in such a way that its apertures are arranged in staggered order and provided with inclined baffles attached to the apertures in such a way that the baffle inclination angle direction is opposite the gas flow speed vector; the cassettes are installed in such a way that the perforated walls of each pair of the cassettes face each other to make gas channels, while the blind walls with rough surface of the other pair of the cassettes are opposite each other to make air channels; herewith the cartridges are filled with pumice granules made of metallurgical slags with the basicity module of M>1 and the granules diameter from 5 to 10 mm, and the gas duct before the gas inlet branch pipe is equipped with ozone-air mixture feeding adapter connected with the perforated branch pipe.

EFFECT: invention increases complex air heater efficiency.
