FIELD: heat power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat engineering, namely to heat supply. Glass-block air-heater-cleaner includes a housing equipped with end covers, end tube plates, heating air inlet and outlet pipes, respectively, upper cover with upper tube plate and hot gases inlet branch pipe, inside which there are sectional distributors connected to the washing water manifold, the lower cover plate with the lower tube plate, the tray and the cooled gas outlet branch pipe, at the entrance into which the deentrainment device is located, inside the housing on the lower pipe plate there are vertical rows of single-channel glass blocks with rough internal walls, creating horizontal air channels, between which there are vertical cleaning sections, also installed on lower tube plate, forming vertical gas channels, wherein each cleaning section consists of vertical frame, equipped with clamps, in which in staggered order vertical rectangular containers with perforated walls are arranged, made of corrosion-resistant material, the space between which forms gas channels, and filled with granules of metallurgical pumice made of metallurgical slags with basicity module M>1 and diameter from 5 to 10 mm.
EFFECT: invention can be used for heat recovery and cleaning of waste furnace and flue gases, as well as ventilation emissions at temperatures below dew point.
