FIELD: rocket technics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rocket engineering. Trumpet nozzle of rocket engine with heat insulation is made from composite material that is represented by ceramic matrix which is reinforced with carbon fibers. Heat insulation is made in the form of housing from the packet of carbon felt plates, quilted in reinforcing shell from fiberglass cloth and sewn with reinforcing fibers. Housing is fixed on the outer surface of the nozzle.
EFFECT: invention allows to ensure protection from overheating of assembly compartment of engine and devices, which are located near the nozzle, at minimum increase of weight and changing the design of the trumpet.
