FIELD: optics.

SUBSTANCE: method for controlling signal parameters of fibre-optic interferometric phase sensor with adjustable optical radiation source involves measuring amplitude of controlled interferometric signal, which allows determining the current value of phase modulation depth, its adjustment to the optimum value by varying amplitude of the modulating signal, modifying the central wavelength of radiation source and measuring the corresponding current values of controlled interferometric signal amplitude. Account of signal error is additionally performed during adjustment.

EFFECT: technical result is optimal value of phase modulation depth and maximum value of the interference signal range.
