FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Lacrimal obturator is made with thickness from 450 to 600 MCM and consists of central part with length 2.4-2.6 mm and width 0.4-0.6 mm, which is sharpened on one end, and at the other one changes into a bridge with length 1.3-1.4 mm and width 0.15-0.25 mm, symmetrically arranged relative to central part of the deflected from perpendicular to direction of the central part at an angle equal to 2 to 6°, and two branches, made in the form of strips with width 0.16-0.19 mm and located in the plane of the central part and bridge, starting from the sharpened end of the central part and directed towards the bridge. Wherein rear ends of branches can either be closed on the central part or be free, but always sections of branches from the sharpened end of the central part to maximum deviation of branches from the central part, determining maximum width of obturator, equal to 1.6-1.8 mm, are 2-3 times smaller than that of sections of branches directed from the point of their bend to bridge.

EFFECT: using of this invention enables reducing intra- and postoperative complications.
