SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing fibre composite material components and a manufacturing unit for making said components. Technical result is achieved using a method for producing fibre composite material components, which includes following steps. Providing a manufacturing unit to apply a fibre composite material to a component mould. Manufacturing unit has a positioning device and an application tool arranged thereon. Positioning device to position application tool relative to component mould has a plurality of drive motors, which are driven by a control device. Manufacturing unit has height profile measuring sensors with a detection range directed onto component mould. First web of fibre composite material is applied to component mould. Height profile is measured in such a way a part of applied first web is located in detection range of height profile measuring sensor. Applying a second web of fibre composite material to component mould in such a way that control device activates at least one of drive motors depending on measured height profile, wherein webs are applied in opposite application directions. Height profile measuring sensors are arranged next to one another on application tool. Application tool is rotated through 180° relative to positioning device upon a change in application direction.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and quality of product.
