FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to foamed polyurethanes, particularly to elastic foamed polyurethanes. Embodiments of invention include a phosphorus-containing flame retardant, a method for production thereof and a polyurethane product containing said flame retardant. Phosphorus-containing flame retardant is a reaction product of reaction mixture, where reaction mixture contains a) at least one active hydrogen-containing compound and b) at least one phosphorus compound. Hydrogen-containing compound is selected from a group (i) first polyol with hydroxyl functionality of at least 3, (ii) polyamine with amino functionality of at least 2 and (iii) amino alcohol with combined amino-and hydroxyl functionality of at least 2.
EFFECT: technical result consists in production of phosphorus compounds, that are more compatible with polyurethane compositions.
