METHOD OF LANDING SPACE ROCKET DURING LAUNCH OF CARRIER AIRCRAFT AND AIRCRAFT LAUNCHING APPARATUS Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC F41F3/06

Abstract RU 2595742 C1

FIELD: aviation.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to aerospace engineering, particularly to a method of landing space rocket and to aircraft rocket launcher. Method of landing space rocket from carrier aircraft consists in starting from transporter-launcher container and ejection thereof under action of piston force created by excess gas pressure in a sealed cavity. Sealed cavity is formed between bottom of container and rigid tray fixed on tail part of rocket. Aircraft launcher comprises fixed in cargo compartment of carrier aircraft transporter-launcher container with bottom and open end, energy rocket ejection device, support-drive belts device for holding rocket in container and sealed tray. Container is oriented in aircraft tail and is equipped with a sealing device. Tray is equipped with power flange extending beyond middle of rocket and connected with retainers thereof in container.

EFFECT: method of launching rocket from aircraft carrier.
