FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology, and is intended to treat squint. Patient is asked to follow an object, oscillating at a constant frequency selected from range of 0.2 to 0.5 Hz at beginning and at end of exercise for 10-40 s, depending on selected frequency. Video oculograms are recorded, trajectory of oscillating movements left and right eyes in horizontal plane at frontal viewing patient is subjected to Fourier analysis, then separately for left and right eye calculated parameter where denotes summation of all i other than j, Ai - amplitude of i-th harmonic, Aj - value of maximum amplitude in spectrum, j - number of harmonics with maximum amplitude; parameters are compared in beginning and end of training , if O parameter on decreases, shows efficiency of treating squint, otherwise is repeated visual exercises increasing frequency of oscillations of object to 1 Hz with a pitch of 0.1 Hz and diagnostic procedure is repeated until parameter on decreases. Exercises are repeated for 10 days.
EFFECT: method improves efficiency of treatment in a timely manner and accurately determining reaction to impact.
