SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to automated systems for collecting data on consumption of energy resources based on electric energy counters. System contains electric energy counters, data concentrators, server and client devices. Data exchange takes place on the principle of request-response based on packet protocol. Package contains starting and stop elements, field of parameters and the length of the data field, addresses of sender and recipient, command code, a password, data field and checksum. Field of parameters contains bit of protective data coding. Responding password field is used for arrangement of notifications. Short package has a length field of data up to 31 bytes and additionally contains relay fields and relay tracks. Long package has a length of field data up to 8191 bytes and additionally contains high-order byte field.

EFFECT: high efficiency of using communication channel is provided.
