FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to method of producing cobalt phthalocyanine and itd halogen-substituted derivatives. Method involves reaction of phthalic anhydride and/or its halogen derivative, taken in form of anhydride or salt monohalogenphthalic acid, urea, ammonium chloride and cobalt salt at high temperature. At that, process is carried out in presence of aliphatic unsaturated carboxylic acids (oleic or erucic) or amides, taken in amount of 3-5 % of total weight of phthalic acid derivatives.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to considerably reduce foaming of reaction mass, which increases output and improves quality of products.
