FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing 2-(N,N-dialkylaminomethyl)styrenes containing a heterocyclic fragment of general formula: where R=CH2NHCH2, R=o-CH2C6H4 or R=(CH2)4, in which isoquinoline is reduced to 1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinoline in presence of formic acid, triethylamine and tris-triphenylphosphinoruthenium dichloride. Then it is dissolved in ethanol solution under action of dihalide and alkali, mixture is evaporated, methyltertbutyl ether is added and stirred for 30-40 minutes. Obtained mixture is filtered through aluminium oxide powder to produce end product.
EFFECT: invention simplifies process and improves manufacturability owing to implementation thereof in mild conditions, which do not require complex equipment, an inert atmosphere, expensive and toxic reagents; also, higher yield of end products to 79-84 wt% of initial isoquinoline.
