FIELD: refrigerating equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to segment of continuous casting plant equipped with cooling device. Cooling device comprises drive module, providing for rotation force, spray coolant modules arranged accordingly on both sides of drive module and having at least one nozzle to spray coolant, and displacing modules arranged accordingly between drive module and spraying coolant modules for symmetric movement of spraying coolant modules and effective cooling of streams in accordance with change of width of strands in continuous casting.
EFFECT: reduced dimensions of equipment, higher ease of operation and efficiency.
