SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in internal combustion engines. Valve control device is intended for, at least, one valve of internal combustion engine, in which movement of at least one cam (2) of distribution shaft (3) is transferred to rod (5) of valve (1) by means of transmission gear (4). Transmission gear (4) includes at least one transmission device (7) installed with possibility of rotation on axis (6). Transmission device (7) is made in the form of a rocker arm (10) or pull lever and is connected with distribution shaft (3) by means of contact element (8) located on transmission device (7). Contact surface (19) of the contact element (8) and peripheral surface (20) of cam (2) have at least on some sections curved and matching circuits in axial direction (21). Transmission device (7) is installed with possibility of axial movement on body (11) of axis (6). Invention discloses method of limiting axial movement of transmission device and internal combustion engine.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of relative movement in axial direction of two contact parts of the valve control device relative to each other.
