FIELD: measuring devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electromagnetic flow meters for measuring flow rate of high-temperature, corrosive, conducting fluids flowing in channel, such as pipe or chute. Flow meter has magnet, substantially non-magnetic channel configured to transmit conducting fluid medium flowing in channel and located near magnet, and sensor for measurement of distortion of power lines, created by magnet at passage of fluid medium in channel. Neither for sensor or for magnet there is no need in physical contact with channel carrying conducting fluid.
EFFECT: technical result is increased reliability, reduced probability of failure of used parts of flow meter.
