FIELD: engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for maintaining internal combustion engine systems in heated state. Onboard device for heating the systems of diesel engines consists of an additional diesel-generator plant that is source of electric energy and distribution control unit; according to the invention in the room of the stock refrigerator houses a self-contained additional diesel-generator plant with the power of 12 kW, being the source of electric energy to power electric motors of the additional and fuel priming pumps.
EFFECT: invention provides higher efficiency of heat carriers of heating devices for diesel locomotive engines and preservation of service life of diesel engines.
