FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy and can be used in aircraft engineering and automotive industry. Proposed method comprises assembling cast consumable patterns and elements of gating system, in consumable pattern of gating system a cavity is created, which is filled with nanostructured diamond powder (NDP), preliminarily treated in the field of electric discharge with intensity 800…1200 v/m. Chemically hardened gastight non-stick dressing is applied to the model, model are formed in the mold in sand, then the treated powder is closed with a porous plug from the model material. Mold is vacuumed at residual pressure of 150…280 kPa and poured with aluminium alloy.
EFFECT: when model is burning out refractory particles of NDP get into aluminium melt, that provides the integrated inside pattern alloy modification which leads to grinding of all structural components in the entire volume of casts and increasing the quality of casts.
