METHODS OF EVALUATING COMPLIANCE OF BIOLOGICAL TISSUE WITH STANDARDS Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61B5/265

Abstract RU 2665189 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, particularly to electromagnetic bio-sensing and bio-imaging means. Portable system comprises a portable control unit, a handheld probe connected to a control unit, said probe distributing an electromagnetic field generated by the control unit, wherein the probe can be moved around a biological object and can be placed inside the object, during operation the probe measures the generated electromagnetic field scattered and/or reflected by the biological object, and a tracking unit that tracks the position of the handheld probe, wherein the tracking unit is an internal device in the portable control unit. Method for evaluating the functional and/or pathological condition of biological tissue comprises generating an electromagnetic signal, wherein the electromagnetic signal is a first signal, transmitting at least a portion of the first signal from the portable control unit to the handheld probe, emitting by means of the handheld probe the first signal into the biological tissue, receiving the emitted signal after it has been scattered / reflected by the biological tissue, wherein the received emitted signal is a second signal, the step of receiving the emitted signal after it has been scattered / reflected by the biological tissue is performed on the antenna of the handheld probe, combining at least a portion of the first signal and at least a portion of the second signal, and processing the combined portions of the first and second signals to evaluate compliance of the biological tissue with the standard. Method for evaluating the state of biological tissue comprises emitting an electromagnetic signal through a probe into biological tissue, receiving the emitted electromagnetic signal after it has been scattered / reflected by the biological tissue, wherein the reception of the emitted electromagnetic signal includes reception of the emitted electromagnetic signal on the probe, obtaining information about blood flow in the biological tissue, analysing the received signal based on at least the received information about blood flow and data on the differences in the passage of electromagnetic signals through normal, suspicious and abnormal tissue, using an algorithm for reconstruction of dielectric properties, reconstruction of the dielectric properties of biological tissue, at least on the basis of the results obtained at the analysis step, and data on blood flow, and using an algorithm for reconstructing tissue properties for reconstructing the properties of the tissue of the biological object, at least on the basis of the results obtained at the reconstruction step and the data on blood flow. Method of creating images of biological tissue for the detection and localisation of abnormalities in tissue comprises emitting an electromagnetic signal near biological tissue, through a probe which is a transmitting probe, receiving the emitted electromagnetic signal by the probe, wherein the transmitting probe is different from the receiving probe, obtaining information about blood flow in the biological tissue, using an algorithm for reconstructing tissue properties and blood flow data for reconstructing the properties of the biological tissue, determining by the tracking unit the position of at least one transmitting probe and the receiving probe at the receiving step, wherein at least one probe is a tracked probe, and a correlation of the reconstructed tissue properties with a specific probe position so that the spatial location of tissue anomalies can be detected and determined.

EFFECT: use of inventions makes it possible to increase the convenience and comfort of using bio-sensing means in terms of ergonomics.
