Gas burner (1), in particular, for food preparation device includes sleeve (10) containing nozzle (11) for releasing gas coming from channel (12), which feeds gas to burner (1); flame spreader (20) connected with said sleeve (10) and containing chamber (21) with Venturi effect located in fact aligned with nozzle (11); cover (30) connected with flame spreader (20) in order to provide gas release through multiple holes (22) of flame spreader (20) and/or of cover (30). Flame spreader (20) is made so that it contains at least three branches (23) passing from central part (23C) of flame spreader (20), and cover (30) is made so that it contains at least three extended parts (33) connected to branches (23) and extending from central area (33C) of cover (30); herewith cover (30) is integrated with grid (40), which supports a pan, and cover (30) with grid (40) supporting the pan are made integral.

EFFECT: invention provides higher efficiency of the burner, reliability, lower costs.
